Is this counseling, coaching, or a church?
The Discovery Pathway is a faith-based development and community ministry. It is not a church or licensed counseling, but it utilizes elements of heart-centered coaching and mentoring within a safe, peer-to-peer community setting, rooted in Scripture and informed by psychology.
Do I have to be a Christian to join?
No. We are rooted in the Christian faith and Scripture, but everyone is welcome. Our vision is to help people “release the masterpiece within,” and we believe that journey is for anyone seeking clarity, healing, and purpose, regardless of their current beliefs or background.
Is this only for substance addiction?
No. While we create safe spaces to heal from addiction, trauma, and disconnection, we also serve people who are stuck in repeating patterns (like approval or work addiction) or those who feel in-between seasons and are hungry for their God-given purpose and impact.
What does a typical gathering look like?
Gatherings focus on creating a safe, heart-centered space. They typically involve shared discussion, Scriptural reflection, practical self-assessment tools, and prayerful companionship focused on healing and intentional growth, often conducted online via Zoom and WhatsApp.
How is The Discovery Pathway funded?
The Discovery Pathway is primarily funded through donations from partners and individuals who believe in our mission. Our programs are designed to be accessible, and we rely on the generosity of our community to continue “restoring hope, rebuilding lives, and raising leaders.
